Since the introduction of the "Thank Our First Responders" Project, over 400 signed messages of gratitude have been received.

This vintage painting of the Castro Valley Women's Club from the early 1970's has been on display in the Clubhouse for many years. The artist's daughter, a longtime member of the Club, recently decided to take the painting outside to take a picture of it. The photo op was upstaged by a curious fawn out for a stroll on Redwood Road! The Women's Club is always looking for new members!

In 2019, CVWC learned about, and now supports, the Mosaic Project. Their Outdoor Project brings together fourth and fifth grade classes from diverse communities for a profound weeklong experience in nature. Their evidence-based, social-emotional learning curriculum is designed to address issues of difference, build self-esteem and inspire inclusion.
