We will again be delightfully entertained by the Castro Valley High School Madrigal choir. This is a favorite annual event. Be sure to save this date; you will be very glad you have. This year, Sinath and her committee are planning a potluck. Please let her know if you are coming and what you might be willing to bring. She will have sign-up sheets at the November 20th meeting. More information will come regarding the actual time.
This is a wonderful event for the Club. Stephanie Bigelow traditionally hosts an evening at her lovely home. As is standard with our TGIFs, you may bring a guest, partner or spouse along with your drinks and hors d'oeuvres to share. More information is to come regarding the exact starting time.
We're decorating the Clubhouse to get ready for the many events for the Club and renters over the holidays. Our December Committee of the Month can certainly use some help to present the Clubhouse at its best! Sinath has stepped up to Chair the December COM and will be coordinating. This would be a good time to bring your donations for our Toys4Tots collection effort. More information to come regarding exact starting times on both dates.
This is the first in a series of movies to share with time to dine and share reflections. Please invite family and friends to join us. We will meet at the Hayward Cinemark Theater for the 2:25 p.m. showing. Reservations are recommended. If you contact Sandy Schnieder on or before November 6th with $15, she will make your reservation with the group. If you miss the date, you will have to make a reservation yourself or take the risk of seats not being available. Sandy will be playing bridge at Don Jose on the 6th and can collect then.
Holiday gift baskets, gift cards, handicrafts, plants, garden-related items, books, toys, jewelry, housewares, homemade treats and holiday decorations. The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District is thrilled to announce the completion and grand reopening celebration of the Sulphur Creek Nature Center. The newly revitalized center, a beloved wildlife education and rehabilitation facility, is open to the public, showcasing several exciting new features that enhance outdoor education, community engagement and environmental stewardship. Members were blown away and delighted by last year's Magic and Mindreading performance, so we thought we'd share another great magic show this year. In this full-length independent documentary, we follow four youth struggling with mental health as they change their journey from a sense of despair to find their pathway to hope.
